here’s the Spanish version of this poem:

petrified, frustrated, and stagnated
drowning in a sea of disillusionment
thanatos finds me and whispers in my ear
“come with me and your pain will disintegrate”
and the temptation to follow him is great
I hate living in such a terrible and inhumane
world

One thought on “poetry: thanatos

  1. This is alarming and I say that after looking up the name Thanatos and seeing that it means “dying” and personifies death though the god Thanatos also provides travel to the underworld, but what is the underworld? I don’t know much about Greek mythology, but now I’m interested. In any case, I hope you put Thanatos aside and focus on life.
