i wrote this poem in November of 2022.

Don’t invest your feelings in me
I’m not worth the risk
Sooner or later I’ll let you down
and you’ll feel like a clown
it’s better to keep this casual
or you’ll end up another casualty
in my book of lust and love
when feelings get involved
