Blocked

Blocked from my phone
Blocked from my world
Blocked from being
The constant chaos
That torpedoes into my life
And fucks things up

If only I could
Block you from my mind
If only I could
Block you from my heart
If only I could
Block you from my dreams

Blocked from mentioning your name
My friends know better

If only I could
Block you from
My poetry and prose

  1. Freaking ghosts. I can’t get rid of them either even after all the low self-esteem they caused me in ghosting me over and over. Are we gluttons for pain? Maybe, but we also like the thrills of love when it miraculously forms. I think it’s worth the risk or as my friend calls the walk of love – “strolling through a field of land mines hidden beneath the surface.”
