but not when I’m pretty reclusive

but not when I’m a pretty girl who’s a selfish cunt
pretty gets me notice
but also gets me dismissed

Thank you. Some of those poems were sitting in my drafts for a couple of years because I thought they were too “vulnerable” and “cringe” to share. But then again, it’s part of my lived experience and part of letting go of my self limiting beliefs.
