My aura is a bright orange red it means I’m passionate, it means I get angry easily it means I have the most intense energy and while I joke how my soul is black my aura tells a different story It tells a story of a woman who loves hard who’s an emotional mess at times Who fosters a unique strength and resilience to go on Who’s a fucking Goddess
Old insecurities come to visit me again, they shake up my newly acquired confidence they tell me I’m not smart enough and I’ll never be truly loved They tell the only thing I have going for me is how sexy I can be Otherwise I’m a waste of a person because of my bpd And I try to shut it all down and not once again drown Because I have made so much progress and have come so far Only to once again fight an anxiety and depression war but it’s daunting not to let the negativity get to me So here I go once again trying to calm down my brain from intense and intrusive thoughts by covering myself with self love
this bitch has had more transformations than she cares to remember
My story is important to share, it’s important to write down but I don’t want to do it from a place of anger, revenge, or ego It’s strange to say this because for the past 5 years Anger has been my major inspiration and motivation to feed the narrative of how everyone has been a villain and I’ve been a victim It gave me a sense of martyrdom that allowed me to find peace for a while acting like everyone is a problem While I just flounder around being wronged And while I have so much compassion and love for this version of me It’s not who I want to continue to be It’s not how I want to be perceived because I’m more than being angry and vindictive I’m also kindness, goodness, empathy, and love And when I share my story-I need to remember these things
I look to the cards for reassurance things will turn out alright that I am doing all of the important things to light the flame to a bright future that my past is now behind me and I will no longer be chained to it that I’ll fully live in my present
heroines go bravely up on stage and vomit out their feelings–pic is courtesy of my friend Amber Murphey
As I let go of my limiting beliefs, I grieve the woman I used to be so insecure and unsure of herself so hesitant to take control and power Overthinking and catastrophizing constantly it held me back from living the life of my dreams- Jealousy and envy filled me up Scrolling the professional and personal successes of others on social media Thinking, “that could have been me” and giving too much important to the opinions of others wondering constantly- “are they judging me?” It was an toxic story I told myself since the age of 16 and it continued on and on until one day in my middle age I exploded and decided to fight my inner critic and challenge everything I thought was wrong with me slowly I learned to turn my story around Slowly I went from victim to heroine
on the shitty days, get a baseball bat and take pics
not every day can be filled with peace, calm, joy or excitement Some days are absolutely shitty and depressing Some days it’s hard to get up in the morning without screaming fuck repeatedly on your way to work Some days are overwhelming to push through as hormones and emotions fuck you up Some days are for questions your life choices over and over again allowing doubt and insecurity to cloud you its accomplice self invalidation Some days are for getting up only to look forward to the end of it when you can sleep with the hope for a better day
taco love is a healthy kind of love ALWAYS and FOREVER
I thought that for once I had a healthy kind of love but I was wrong- Healthy doesn’t carry lies, toning myself down, or accommodate in extremes Healthy is not running from conflict or avoiding hard conversations Healthy is not hiding the worst parts of myself because I’m too scared to be alone Even now, I’m not sure what healthy is-but I didn’t have it with you
I wonder where all of my money goes but then I go home to the bottomless pits that are my kids and then I go upstairs to my bedroom where my closet is exploding with clothes and then I look under bed full of shoes and then I go downstairs to my record player and looks at my various vinyls and we won’t even talk about my newly acquired furniture from Amazon now I understand my money goes to my busy life and my BPD spending impulsivity
At 40, I feel like the ultimate Queen after losing layers and layers of my princess skin The broken princess I had to beat to finally feel enough and complete Friends and men full of duplicity Have no place in my world of authenticity I no longer wear my crown of guilt and shame It caused me too much emotional pain Instead I wear a crown of confidence and power being true to myself is my superpower Fuck anyone who thinks I’m too much or not enough You assholes were never deserving of my love I am the ultimate Queen and I’m finally making myself seen
