So, you’ve found yourself in my little corner of my often messy and complicated universe. Hi, I’m Patty and I started this blog at the end of 2011 after my family was robbed and me and my family had to move back in with my parents. It was one of the worst rock bottoms because I was also suffering from postpartum depression when it happened. Here’s my first blog post about it: https://lifeonthebpd.com/2011/12/14/hello-world/

Since then I’ve used this blog as a way to share my poetry, updates about my life, or simply my thoughts about various topics. It’s been a way to process the chaotic mess that has been my life and tell my story. I blog about almost anything and everything from motherhood to immigration to childhood memories to relationships, and other topics as well. I started blogging consistently 2 years ago when I’ received the life changing diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder. I call it life changing because I finally had an explanation as to why life has been kind of difficult for me with my ever changing mood swings and emotions. Here is a blog post I wrote about it:

A New Diagnosis: BPD

I also have been diagnosed with other mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, specific situational phobia, and Bipolar 2. I firmly believe in the healing power of storytelling because it’s been instrumental in my own mental health recovery journey. When I first restarted this blog 2 years ago in the midst of a mental breakdown, this blog was one of the reasons I got up every morning and kept moving forward. At first it was just for me to scream about everything I had suppressed and repressed for years and then it became something more. I laugh now thinking about that first year because it was me unleashing this crazy and creative beast I had kept hidden inside for years. I never expected anyone to read this blog but surprisingly people did and some even resonated with it. I went from 17 followers to over 300 followers and I went to only less than 20 posts to over 1000 posts and all this in just over 2 years. Thinking about this blog fills me with pride and purpose and it’s something I hope to continue.

  1. Hi,

    How are you doing?

Will you be interested in doing a high-quality guest post on your site? It is a 3 step process where:

    1. I will send you three amazing topic ideas for a post.
    2. You need to choose one out of those.
    3. I will then send a high-quality, SEO Friendly article on that chosen topic to get it published on your website with one do-follow link to my site.

Let me know if I shall start with step 1?

    Best,

    Jennifer Roy
